How did it begin....?

Within the last months of 2015, the Archdiocese of Freiburg decided on establishing an African Community within the Neckar-region and in the metropolis of Mannheim. Mannheim is a city with many migration faces, among which are Africans of different nationalities. The decision was discussed with and in conjunction with the Mannheim Catholic denary, under the auspices of the dean, Karl Jung; parish priest, Brother Frank Hartmann ofm; and the Catholic community Mannheim-Neckarstadt. The African Catholic Community Mannheim is to work together with this community for Africans and foreigners, but also for the indigenous members of the community. It started actively in February, 2016.
